How & Why to Use RSS Feeds
Here is simple explanation of why you would want to subscribe to an RSS Feed. "Convenience"

Here's how it works, you're looking for say Rental Properties in the Vanderbilt Area of Nashville. You go to a website like TheDailyClassifieds.Com (TDC) and you do a search for 2 bedroom -1 bath - condos - between $1500 and $2000 in the zip code area of 37203. You see the results but the current listings are just not what you are looking for so you subscribe to the RSS feed ( Subscribe to this feed) that is offered for that search. Now you have a constantly updated quick reference to new & existing Vanderbilt listings posted on TDC. This allows you to see the listings without re-entering TDC and duplicating the search day after day.

The Feed's results are available in the "Feeds" tab under "Favorites" on your browser ( Explorer - Foxfire ). This can vary a little depending which browser & version you are using. If all else fails use "help" and type in RSS. You'll find instructions for your version of browser. You can subscribe and delete the subscription as often and as  you like. You will know a RSS Feed is available if the RSS Icon is orange rather than gray in the Tool Bar of your browser .

RSS (really simple syndication) service is a means by which TDC offers feeds of Classified Ads in XML format ("RSS Content") to visitors.

Use of RSS Feeds:

RSS is a free service offered by TDC for non-commercial use. Any other uses, including without limitation the incorporation of advertising into or the placement of advertising associated with or targeted towards the RSS Content, are strictly prohibited. You must use the RSS feeds as provided by TDC, and you may not edit or modify the text, content or links supplied by TDC. For web posting, reprint, transcript or licensing requests for TDC material, please send your request to Info@TheDailyClassifieds.com

The RSS service may be used only with those platforms from which a functional link is made available that, when accessed, takes the viewer directly to the display of the full ad on the TDC Site. You may not display the RSS Content in a manner that does not permit successful linking to, redirection to or delivery of the applicable TDC Site web page. You may not insert any intermediate page, splash page or other content between the RSS link and the applicable TDC Site web page.

Ownership/Attribution:

TDC retains all ownership and other rights in the RSS Content, and any and all TDC logos and trademarks used in connection with the RSS Service. You must provide attribution to the appropriate TDC website in connection with your use of the RSS feeds. If you provide this attribution using a graphic, you must use the appropriate TDC website's logo that we have incorporated into the RSS feed.

Right to Discontinue Feeds:

TDC reserves the right to discontinue providing any or all of the RSS feeds at any time and to require you to cease displaying, distributing or otherwise using any or all of the RSS feeds for any reason including, without limitation, your violation of any provision of these Terms of Use. TDC assumes no liability for any of your activities in connection with the RSS feeds or for your use of the RSS feeds in connection with your website.
